Identify risks in projects at an early stage and avoid them
As a rule, IT and FB projects are fraught with high risk so that professional risk management has to be installed and should constitute an integral part of project management.
A preliminary risk analysis is required already at the stage when decisions are being made about projects, as the various known risks can then be minimised through measures that have been planned for the project. This risk analysis should be continued during the project and accompanied by detailed risk monitoring.
In the risk analysis, the existing risks should always be quantified and appropriate measures should be planned, or carried out beforehand to minimise the risk, e.g. reasonable stakeholder management and avoiding key resources that are difficult to replace.
